Appleton at Night (Photo Series)
Tick tock goes the clock, whether you like it or not. Time is always moving, with or without you, and hours of sleep are no exception. In this series of twenty photos, I aim to capture the sights of a cold night in Appleton.
Both inside and out, each photo was edited to bring out its mood. For example, the warm tones of the interior contrast with the cold tones of the exterior. The inside photos tend to focus on still life, while the outside photos focus more on landscapes. Throughout the series, there are themes of stained glass, which can be compared to the fragility of ice or snow. This is contrasted by the stability and strength of trees and stone buildings. Overall, I believe this collection of work is successful in displaying a range of emotions, presumably happening at the same time.

I really love the way you use darkness to enhance the lighting.
