"Character no longer is shaped by only two earnest, fumbling experts. Now all the world's a sage." (McLuhan 15).
Hello, my name is Dan and I am currently in my 3rd year of undergrade in the bachelor's of musical arts program. I mainly produce music but I also play upright bass and drums. I enjoy and play a lot of jazz, RnB, funk, and bossa. In the future I aspire to be an independent artist, and in the mean time I am on track to go to grad school for education and start teaching.

I am also working on a minor in studio art. Although I am dedicating my career to music, it is not something that is not aways accessible. That being the case I picked up studio art as something to do in those times, and hopefully compliment my music career down the line as well.

I chose the McLuhan quote that I did because it really resonated with me. I think a lot of things about the internet and the digital world, but I especially think it had a lot to do with my artistical upbringing as I'm sure it did many other people. When a live recording of Art Blakey or a painting tutorial of Bob Ross can be googled in seconds, the only thing holding an artist back is themselves.

Very lucky to witness your collage, it is truly one of a kind!
